Here's a real oddity that you might overlook in a quick sales table scan at any show. In 20+ years of chasing Canadian glass from coast to coast in Canada, I've encountered only 4 of these light aqua Dominion 9s, and have seen other collectors turn up a handful more. As far as I can tell, these have surfaced in parts of Manitoba, SW Ontario, and New Brunswick. They remain very scarce, if not rare - perhaps even rarer than the delft blue examples, with which I believe they are closely related in colour. This example was recently purchased from a local antique dealer here in Ontario. It has an empty Diamond on the rear skirt and RDP, as have all other examples I've encountered.

I have included a photo of this piece shown next to a light green example (at left) for colour comparison only. The light green example is not included.

This piece has two tiny flakes on the left upper wire ridge and a white fleabite to the left of the "D".

I'm now asking $45 USD plus shipping for this example as I've been contacted by someone who has several examples. That changed my assessment of its rarity. I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items.
