I've been saving the money from all the insulators I've sold in the past year or two to buy something special for my collection. That piece finally came up in a local auction. I paid more than "book value" for this, but I'm only aware of 4 of these coming up in local auctions/estate sales in the past 5 years, and I missed out on all of them. I wasn't going to let this one get away from me. I ended up buying 3 lots of insulators from the auction, and will post pictures of some of the better ones.
