I was once told by a vendor that these were made in the sand-blasted-looking shape the most are found in. Not so; traces of the original finish usually show up under the line and tie wires. I do not remember the the sellers comment on that but I do remember that it was pure bravo sierra. I should have gotten a couple of more out of the barrel that this was in.
