Here's a cool little go-with that a friend recently found in some old railway-related documents. This is a telegram scrawled on a scrap piece of paper that describes the delivery of 5 boxes of insulators for the Montreal Telegraph Co at Dorchester, Ontario. It's dated May 25th, 1874.

These would likely have all been threadless at that time.
