I always love the thick, watery glass on these Canadian CD 145s. Here's a pair in some fairly typical but beautiful pastel blue-grey shades. At left is a G.T.P. over T.C.R. blot out example in a deeper greyish blue. This one has two 1/2" inner skirt chips in the front but appears to be otherwise in good shape. The G.N.W.TEL.CO. example at right has the letters "T.P." blotted out behind "N.W." and is in a lighter "steel blue" colour. This one has "CO" nicely ghosted above and to the right of the embossing, and its inner skirt is heavily underpoured. It's in excellent condition with no visible damage. I'm now asking $23 USD plus shipping for the pair. I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items. |
