Here's one that doesn't turn up too often, but did see some use here in Ontario. This oddly shaped little signal style is only marked with an incused "29" on the dome top, and based on its olive-tinted chocolate glaze, high quality porcelain, and unglazed pinhole I have come to believe that this is likely a German or otherwise European-made style. Note it has a 1" pinhole due to its use in North America. Most examples I have encountered have this same number "29" on the dome, though I have seen examples with a "4" incused on the skirt. This example has a deep wire rub above the upper wire ridge on one side and a small fleabite just above it. Otherwise it appears to be in good shape. Now asking $15 USD plus shipping for this piece. I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items. |
