Dear Santa,

With the holidays about over, I would like to take a brief moment and mention a few things about my wish list that you so kindly attended to.

First, I asked for a dozen Miller Lite, I believed from your stature that fine foods and alcohol beverages are not unknown to you, so assumed that you would know that Miller is a brewing company and is not Miller Skylight Co. The timely arrival over our heads as we sat and enjoyed Christmas Eve dinner was most unforgettable, and that 3 inch diameter branch adorned with evergreen boughs that came through the ceiling and continued on down through the floor, inches away from my wife, is a truly life changing experience for her. We decided to remove it, although some consideration was given to placing tinsel and a few lights on it so that perhaps no one would notice.......

Second, I had mentioned that we would be looking for a compact car to replace the aging minivan. I did not even consider that you would make the change for us and compact the van. thank you, but did you not notice where my chainsaw was?

Thirdly, those three Yule logs totally well over 400 ft in length, would be great if I could actually use them. First, I can't get to my chainsaw and even if I could there is no way a 3 ft diameter log will even just fit in the fireplace or wood stove without considerable more effort than this 70 yr old geezer can muster.

And in fourth place, thank you for reminding us how much we rely on electricity. Having the lines down to our house with that last tree knowing that as a single dwelling without power, we will be weeks before crews have time to attend to our problem. I truly appreciate the opportunity to show my resourcefulness and that old length of 10-2 that I put away 35 years ago- just in case- was exactly the right length to run from the pole to the house. I am proud to say I am a farmer, and farmers can and do everything. While 30 amps is not a complete service, it is suitable for all our needs.
