I've finally gotten around to posting some pictures from my visit to Steamtown last fall. I highly recommend stopping in if you are ever near Scranton, PA. Hope you enjoy them! Ever see a 1.2 million pound steam engine? Now you have. Here is Union Pacific's Big Boy #4012. This 4-8-8-4 engine wored in the mountains of Utah and Wyoming and could pull 120-cars, 3800 tons of freight at forty miles an hour. I would have loved to see this engine at work!
