I picked this one myself about 10 years ago. They dismantled a local line and had a huge pile of crossarms every couple miles. I almost left it, it was only a Star, but I could see some color through the skirt. It was black with RR dirt and had a little base chip, but I took it home anyhow. Didn't find the nail till weeks later after a good soak in the lye!
