Here's a hard to find CD 154 Blackglass Olive Green insulator from Spain. Embossed Asturias (front) Transmisiones (reverse) Has large dimple in the top of the pinhole. These were used during the Spanish Civil war in 1936-39 to replace damaged insulators in the small region of Asturias. Most were ruined in the war.

The glass used to produce these in wartime conditions was not carefully made. Thus they have annealing cracks and lines on the surface, especially around the drip points (similar to those made by Denver glass insulators). There is a base chip that removes 5 drips [id= ] and a 1 1/4" clamshell lower skirt bruise that extends into 2 drips (id=). Also 5 tiny nicks and a few very tiny tic marks.

Only 2 examples are known in this Blackglass Olive Green (majority are all Blackglass Emerald Green).

First email gets this scarce insulator for only $125 plus 11 shipping. Thanks!
