To avoid the rising tolls on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, I have been driving the scenic route through Maryland and West Virginia on the way to the Springfield show. This year I continued to poke around a power line ROW that I stopped at last year. The line was built in the early 1920s to carry electricity from a hydroelectric plant. This is a new structure and everything was cleaned up.
