I recently spoke by phone with Gil's wife, Sally. I sadly learned that she has received very little correspondence in the form of sympathy cards from Gil's fellow collecting friends, even after Dario's recent urging. I do see that the address previously posted is in error, so please note the correct address below. I'd really like to encourage everyone to take a moment out of their busy schedules to send along a note or card to Sally expressing your condolences. Gil was a great friend and supporter of our hobby, as well as many of us individually, and his family deserves to know that.

Sally also shared with me that in lieu of flowers, you simply do something kind for a fellow collector in Gil's honor. I hope this is taken genuinely and acted upon. We will begin with the offer of a 106 PSSA in yellow-green. Gil picked this insulator up at every recent show I took it to and always said, "I don't think I need that one". It's not perfectly mint, but it falls in Gil's collecting category, so we'd like to gift it postage paid to someone that will appreciate it and accept it in Gil's memory.
