It was around 1967-68 when my friend and I were broadening our horizon when we came upon a large telephone glass insulator dump. Most were in bad shape and they were all CD 106 and 113 Hemingray pony insulators in aqua and clear glass. A few days later picking around I noticed some off to the side that were partially buried, so I started digging and these were in good shape. The first ones found were CD 113 clear Hemingray - 12's with the flare middle shirt. About eight inches down I pulled out a vvnm Hemingray - 12 in lavender. So you can say the first one in decent shape was the clear Hemingray - 12, however, the earliest one that's still in my collection is the Hemingray - 12 in lavender.

Never found a whole threadless but came close when I found this Wade dot-dash threadless along the Wabash Line.
