A nice example of "The Perfect Transposition" here. This one is the more common embossing variant with just H.G.Co. on the front skirt and PAT MAY 2 1893 on the rear. I'd say it's a medium Hemingray aqua shade. Pretty typical condition on this one, with 14 flaked drips on the top umbrella, and 8 flaked drips on the base. It also has a couple small flakes along the lower wire ridge in the front and a 1/4" by 1/8" flake on the very outer edge of the rear umbrella. It's not bad for one of these, overall. I'm now asking $65 USD plus shipping from London, Ontario for this example. I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items. |
