These G.N.W.DWIGHT CD 143s don't turn often in any condition. It took me quite a few years to find a nice minty one for my collection and I just recently came across this damaged example in a box. This one was a place holder for me for many years. The grooved and smooth based versions of this embossing variation seem to be about equally scarce. This example is the grooved base version.

As you can see, this one has had a rough go. An ugly vertical crack runs from the front base edge all the way up to the top of the pinhole, cutting through the "N". It also has a 1 1/4" bowtie-shaped impact on the rear lower wire ridge that removes the upper portion of the A and the first T.

I'm now asking $50 USD plus shipping for this specimen of a tough piece. I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items.
