A nice thick-glassed Canadian CD 145, this G.N.W. TEL. CO. unit has more character than usual. The glass is a sort of oddball light greyish aqua shade. It has bold, crisp embossing with no blotouts. The glass is nicely whittled, and it has a nice spiraled amber swirl in the rear skirt that gives it a bit of character. This one is in good shape with just a faint 1/8" fisheye bruise on the right side of the crown, and a stubby 1/8" annealing line on the rear base edge near the right mold line. I'm now asking $25 USD plus shipping for this one. I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items. |
