Here's a pair that may be perfect for someone wanting a cheap specimen of a threadless style. Both of these are Canadian CD 742 threadless. Both would have been M.T.Co. embossed pieces. I didn't dig these, and rather purchased them as part of a collection several years ago.

The example at left is an odd colour - a sort of semi-vivid blue with inky purple undertones. I don't want to call it "cornflower" as this doesn't do it justice. It's almost more of a "delft blue" shade. I've seen a few similar examples before, and I'm uncertain what other collectors call it. This example has been repaired from 3 pieces and the small segment of base that remains happens to carry the "M.T.Co." embossing, including the period beneath the 'o' that makes it a [030] EIN. I'm asking $20 USD plus shipping for this example.

The example at right is a typical light blue aqua shade. No remnants of embossing on this one, but the base plate used to mold it suggests it was once an M.T.Co. embossed example. $20 USD plus shipping for this example.

I'd happily take $35 USD plus shipping for the pair.

I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items.
