CD-176 or CD 176.9!!?! I posted this earlier on FaceBook as a CD 176. Now I am not sure. Several collectors have made several comments about this being a CD 176.9 instead. Now I am not sure what it is. It is 4-1/8" tall. The bottom of the skirt is 2-3/8" in diameter. There are no markings on the top or anywhere. it is too tall to be a WT CD 176 and the top is flat and not arched. It falls within the CD 176.9 measurements, but it is still different. There is a groove between the skirts like a CD 176. The CD 176.9 has no groove. The threads start in the skirt unlike either style. It is an aqua tint, but close to clear. The collector that had it was Don Fronc from Bethesda, MD. This probable came from the Hemingray dump as there were several items in Don's collection from the dump. |
