Here's an oddball that ties in as a "go with" in two different ways. The label on this jar is one from the HEPC - the power transmission arm of the Ontario government established in the early 20th century. The label reads "Varsol for John's Car" - not exactly related, but still a cool label!

The jar itself is a CROWN pint with an embossed pictorial crown on the front. These jars were made by Dominion Glass - the same manufacturer as the insulators. This piece has a large Diamond D embossed on the base, along with the date of 1952. It has a mismatched CORONA lid insert, but if you'd like I can easily locate a matching CROWN one.

I'm asking $20 USD plus shipping for this nifty go with. I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items.
