Here's an oddball Canadian CD 145: a G.N.W.TEL.CO. CD 145 with unusually strong, chisel-point embossing in a steel blue colour with some subtle purple dome swirls that give it a wee bit of a two tone effect. When viewed in a backlit display it appears to have a purple-tinted dome and a steel blue skirt. Additionally, this one has some nice ghost embossing on the front, with "G.N.W." ghosted TWICE - once about 3/4" above and to the left of the embossing, and another time about 1/4" above it. Only the "G.N.W." part of the embossing is clearly visible in the ghost, though part of "TEL" is also visible on the upper portion.

This piece is in awesome condition with no visible damage, but I'll call it "VNM" just to be safe.

Now asking $70 for this one. I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items.
