September of 1963 saw this westbound movement heading past the depot in the sleepy little burg of La Jara as it proceeded at a cool speed of 20 mph toward Antonito. It appears that the station agent is not on duty, and judging by the lack of smoke, the train has rolled past the distant water tank without stopping. Photo courtesy of John West
