A very unusual and uncommon type of porcelain railroad resistor terminal. After talking with a fellow ICONer who has used these, they are a 5 Ohm variable resistor used to adjust D.C. voltage on track circuits. Very little information on this type of switch or the company which I guessed is Rail Road Switch Co, hence the R.R.S.CO. Porcelain body with 8 screw-type terminals. Is embossed R.R.S.CO / 7323 + and in excellent condition. No chips, cracks or breaks. The diameter of this is that of a standard softball. If you collect railroadiana along with the switches and relays, you'll want this for your collection. This came out of an Indiana collection. More pictures at your request.

$75 postage paid USA.
