This is a 1919 Porter tank engine built by H.K. Porter! All you old engine nuts out there should get a kick out of this one. Anyone know if the H.K. Porter plastic insulator has anything to do with this engine maker? It was used in New York City in the 20's. It's home now is in a little railroad museum in a little town west of Bradenton Florida called Parrish. I parked there in the shade the other day and had lunch while admiring the old engine.
