According to town records, there were many outages as a result of a rather punishing snow storm with high winds on December 26th that left many customers without electric lighting service. Restoration was prompt despite the heavy, wet snow that was a major obstacle. All customers and the town's three series street lighting service were back on in less than a week. Photo taken on lower Main Street in the forementioned seacoast Massachusetts community.

The heavily-snow-clad primary feeder and other lines on this pole fortunately were not affected by Nature's fury. The two-pin crossarm seen immediately above the two street lines likely was an openwire two-wire service leading to a nearby customer.
