After searching for many years I'm excited to finally add a red U-1555 Bullers fat double groove No. 4 to my collection. I've had a few collectors in the U.K. on the lookout for one for me for a while now. These were used on the London Midland and Scottish Railway usually on the ends of the top arm. The red insulators were used to mark power lines on the telegraph poles. It was made in 1941. Imagine the history and people that passed it by on the trains |
