Brockton, MA, 1960. Intersection, Mobil Gas Station and Electric Distribution Poles, Lines

I grew up in the forementioned city and as a kid always followed the Brockton Edison line crews around. This intersection looked the same until 1966 when the roadway was widened, and traffic lights installed. That meant that most of the utility poles you see here had to be moved. Among my favorite memories was spending time with the Edison crews at this location when they were rebuilding these lines :-)
