Here are four more of the short stubby pins used with the CD 267 and 267.5 insulators within the heavy timbers that supported insulators on the former elevated railway "Orange Line". They simply were inserted into their "arms" probably with a rubber mallet. Nails were not used to hold them in place because the weight of the heavy copper conductors within their insulators' saddle grooves held everything down tightly and firmly in place.
