Eric Wampner's post of a tunnel in Tennessee reminded me of an ancient one a friend and I saw in 2015. The Nashville Chattanooga & St. Louis Railway built the tunnel in the 1850s named Whiteside Tunnel. Very small and early with the inscription block too weathered to read.
