William F. Cooke patented this pottery insulator in 1842, changing from running a line in buried lead pipes to a system of wire on poles suspended by the insulator he designed. The insulator is in beautiful condition. Only thing to note would be a small section that did not get glazed, which shows clearly in the photo. Asking $250.00 plus actual shipping cost.
