Here's a mid to late 19th century glass battery rest insulator pair made by Kilner Brothers, Ltd in England. This is the last example that was uncovered in an old trash dump years ago. The larger top piece is uniquely micro bubble packed! None of the other examples found had this feature! The smaller base piece has a small base flake about the size of 2 match heads. Both pieces are very crude and have the original pontil marks on them indicating they were blown into a mold. Easily VNM!
