White U-929 Locke/ Victor

A new discovery: The U-929 (on the left) was produced by Victor up to about 1911 and earlier Fred M.Locke (1903-04). This larger version of the Locke lug top design is a somewhat unusual insulator in brown glaze but this is the first report of a white one. Here is a comparison photo of a white no name U-929 (late Fred Locke or early Victor) side by side with a marked Fred M.Locke U-925. According to Ken Willick, No shards of the white U-929 in white have ever been found in the Victor dump ether so there were likely not allot of them produced . This unit was discovered on eBay.
