What a great Springfield Show! I concluded my California Surprise Contest for attendees and ended up handing out $30 in cash to two collectors who showed me three Cals, examples of which I have never seen before. No glass exchanged hands as that was not a criteria for participation. Congratulations to Andrew Gibson and Terry Drollinger— pictured below with their winnings. Not pictured is Dudley Ellis who had a California Surprise on his sales table and won an extra $10. Had so much fun, I will probably try this again for the Gettysburg National.
