Finally after about 20 years I got my petticoat beehives out from storage and cleaned up 151 insulators, just like I did with my CREB beehives last year. The majority (about 90 percent) of these insulators came off the old Pittsburgh to Chicago, via Fort Wayne Pennsy Line. I've found them along other railroads like the C&O, Pere Marquette, Milwaukee Road, Nickel Plate, Union Pacific, Great Northern Railway, and a few others.

The following different molds were found and the number of each. A-3, B-1, D-1, E-3, H-3, I-4, J-3, K-17, L-4, Upside Down L-6, M-35, Backwards N-45, A Top-10, G Top-6, H Top-2, No Letter-5, No Letter-1 (Matches the one A Top mold), B Top Narrow Skirt-2.

In this shot shows the following different mold letters and how many different embossings for each mold letter. No Letter (matches the one A-Top mold), H-Top-two different embossings, B-Top Narrow Skirt-two different embossings.
