I added another Wormser bullet to my collection. It's the blue one on the right. I have them lined up showing two distinct styles. And possibly two different methods of manufacture. The two on the left I refer to as cone tops. The two on the right I call blob tops. Other than the shape. The most significant difference is the way the inside of the skirt is formed. The cone tops have the inside skirt curving in to meet the pin hole. The blob tops have a flat top to the skirt cavity. The side of the skirt meets the top at 90 degrees. There are similarities between the two types as well. Such as. The top of the pin hole is convex. And the threads seem similar. Are these two styles both Wormsers? |
