Here's rarely encountered CD 101.6 pony insulator with the embossing C.R./INDUSTRIA ARGENTINA (front) 1 (reverse). This bold embossing reveals the periods after the embossing, which can now be identified as made by Cristalerias Rigolleau!

I researched this company years ago and discovered they did indeed make insulators, but no examples had been able to be attributed to them unequivocally (until now). I have an ashtray made by the same company with the C.R. logo and the embossing Cristalerias Rigolleau. This is unequivocable confirmation. The company was founded with this name in 1898 in Buenos Aires, Argentina and primarily focused on bottle manufacturing. In a later partnership with Wheaton Glass (USA) they began making art glass and decorative ashtrays, etc.

This embossing variant (with periods and mold number) is not shown in the books or NIA website. The mark you see in the photo after the letters "CR" is not damage. You are seeing the "1" mold number on the reverse skirt that is seen through the clear skirt. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks and only minor use marks.
