Sean and I stayed with Cecil and Lela on a number of occasions. We were on our way to the Springfield National during this visit in 2003. I'll never forget Cecil taking us out to the old farm and showing us around. We went out on ATV's to check on the cattle. On the way back Cecil started chasing a badger with the quad until the angry critter disappeared down a hole. Much to our surprise Cecil got off the quad, reached down the hole, and attempted to grab the badger by the tail! We thought he was nuts and couldn't stop laughing. Cecil and Lela were always gracious hosts and made you feel very welcome.
