A few years back Rick Soller reported finding a rubber insert for a CD 1049 that had RB-1/Logo/Pat PenD on it. I think this was made by Continental and is shown used with the mid span insulator on patent US2,623,094. Here is that patent with Rick Soller's post on this website in 2018.
