The locomotive is slowing down to a stop, notice the white smoke instead of black! This is just an incredible hunk of machinery. All 3 of the steam engines and a Portland trolley that were rusting away at Oaks Park, 1/4 mile from this shot, have all been rescued and restored by various local rail clubs. I can't thank the dedicated volunteers of these groups enough for all that they have done to preserve these rolling examples of history so that you and I can experience the few minutes of excitement shown here.
