There was one last section of Baltimore and Ohio Railroad mainline code/signal lead left standing in West Virginia for the past few years. The venerable B&O color position lights on this line were changed over about three years ago and the poles have been redundant ever since. CSX finally decided to saw them down sometime in the past few months. I kind of figured there would be a lot of insulators on the ground over a long tunnel in the woods. Although I knew everything left up there would be common, I decided to check it out.
