Spent some time this past Sunday re visiting an old PRR electrified freight line turned walking trail. Had luck when the virus lockdown began, but maybe there were things I missed. Here is the new Amtrak transmission line that was built in 2011 to replace the catenary poles. The rising temperatures did not melt this snow, which turned to ice and was very slippery.
