These were made to commemorate NIA National shows starting with the 17th NIA National Show in Saratoga Springs New York and ending with the 30th show in Scottsdale, Arizona. The designs included scenes, signs, and insulators from the region. The stamps selected for the cachets had a connection to the area of the show and/or industries related to communications and electrical power. The cancelation marking was custom designed to reflect the location and date of the show being commemorated.

This is a complete year run set with a 15th cachet included. The Williamsburg, Virginia show had cachets produced with a Virginia stamp and with a Maryland stamp.
