In early years, I did a lot of trading with Charles Brandon. One of these trades in the early 2000 included a trade of a CD 133.3 bar with a reverse 3 [id=604439696] and a CD 126 Brookfield in beautiful green [id=81506366] for a CD 132 Dec. 19 1871 and a CD 133 Dec 19 1871. Both of these early Hemingray's are character pieces and are two of my favorite insulators because of there beauty and for the fact they came from Charles Brandon. My third post is a CD 133 which was found in Northwestern Missouri. Details are as follows: CD-133 Patent / Dec 19 1871 (Front Dome) Script 3 (Back Dome - No Mold Number - 3 Piece Mold) - Crude Sky Blue With Milk, Amber Streak, and Bubbles - Overpour With Significant Lean. Note: The threads are also considerably off-center adding extra character. The following post shows the back of this CD 133. Link as follows: [id=611064586] Note: Back in 2000, Charles Brandon and I had originally identified this insulator as a CD 133.4. I would like to thank ICON member Brian Riecker for bring to my attention that this might be a CD 133. I went through a number of listings since the start of ICON and I am now sure Brian is correct. Also compared to the CD 133.4 I found in Iowa, this insulator has a flat top and the Iowa bullets have a more pointed top. |
