I believe this line was built in the later teens and with Victor (stamped on their undersides) 10-inch clevis-type suspension insulators (at least on some portions). During the late 1980s the western end of this line was reinsulated with new porcelain bells and the old Victor ones tossed to the ground and left there. Owing to their very fragile nature and their 60+ foot drop, not many survived. A few collectors from here in New England hiked the upgraded portions and were able to bring back some (but not many) intact examples. Many were nice mottled and speckled shades of mahogany and tan.

Above location is in New Salem, MA which is on the western side central Massachusetts. I do not think this structure is still there but believe portions of this line and many of their original towers stand, now owned by National Grid.
