As the leaves begin to change in Pennsylvania, A friend and I went hunting on some areas before the real hunting season kicks off. First spot we checked was an abandoned right of way that once carried a 69kv transmission line from a small power plant in the coal region to Harrisburg. The plant closed in the early 60s and the line was wrecked out shortly thereafter. Here is one of the downed poles rotting in the woods.
