This post shows an E. S. Greeley & Company Brown's Type Mine insulator. Again, this came from a small insulator collection I purchased in the mid- 1980's from a guy that dug bottles and worked at the same company where I worked at. A ICON search indicated that this is a fairly rare mine insulator. The embossing is as follows:

CD-187 Greeley / N.Y. (Front) Patented / Nov. 23 RD 1886 (Back) - 3 Piece Mold - Hazy Ice Blue Aqua (Some haze is on the outside; however, there is internal uniform milk with very small microbubbles.)

When I asked about the history of this insulator, I was told that it was dug out of a spoils / junk pile located on a long defunct coal mine in Berks Co., PA a little Northwest of Pottsville, Pennsylvania.
