At Central Junction, GA the Central of Georgia Railway line split with one spur headed North West and the other headed South West. The whole East - West line used many of the older CD 126 dome embossed W. Brookfield (mold line over dome) insulators in light aqua. Although I found three piece mold CD 126's over all the line, they were in the highest concentration on the spur heading South West out of Central Junction, GA. The following is a picture of two skirt embossed Front - W. Brookfield Back - New York (Three Piece Mold). [603671193] Based color and stye, I think these two were made at the Old Bridge, NJ Brookfield facility. Comments on their production are most welcome. |
