During the time period 1968 to 1972, I did a lot of fishing in the Walter George Reservoir in south west Georgia. This is the best Crappie fishing in the state. The Central of Georgia Railway line follows the roads all the way down to the reservoir. Take 3 /19, which parallels the Central of Georgia north-south mainline route and go south to Americus, GA. When you hit 118 go west to Dawson, GA. The spur line from bellow Americus, GA follows route 118. I found the best insulator hunting was between Dawson, GA and Central Junction, GA. At Central Junction, GA the railway line splits with one branch going NW and the other going SW. My favorite was the NW (north west) branch. In the section between Dawson and Central Junction, GA I was lucky enough to find 10 to 12 of the following:

CD 133.1 in brookes blue. Front skirt embossed HOMER BROOKE'S PAT, Rear skirt embossed D/ AUG 14 1883

Although not in the best shape, I added this Brooke's to my collection because it had the most character with milk, bubbles and cull. I'll post a picture of both the front and back. [603665663]
