Tonight I made the difficult decent with my detecting gear and waterproof boots into a rocky creek I found most of a 190ish year old spoon. It was a short hunt. Light fades fast when in an already heavily shaded creek. Nothing interesting detecting wise tonight. Very tough going with all the rocks and the random blobs of rust that give you false high tones. But on the other side of the creek I spied the insulator shard? Any idea on what it is? Update its a lightning rod insulator chunk. |
