A few friends of mine, who just happened to be professional linemen, came over for a visit on Saturday. The following are a few pictures of what went down in the hills of southwestern Pa. This is a pole with 12 Victor 2220's that would not be "standing" very much longer. It was completely cracked at the bottom and being held up by one conductor attached to another pole up the hill. There was also a guywire holding it up. The line has been abandoned so long that a tree had grown around and encased a section of the guywire.
