20 years ago this would have been a dream find as I was so into multi-parts of any and all kinds. When I saw this ad, I was stunned to see big mud not from this area. In all the years of looking, I'd never seen 4 part or even big 3 part pin types used around here. The source is a mystery since they were left behind when a new owner bought the house. The variety suggests someone was accumulating different styles. There were 16 in all. The price asked for the lot was too good to pass up. 15 minute drive. No shipping or tax. Several classics including M-4321, 4325, 3735 and a few others. Most were in amazingly excellent condition which sealed the deal. Some will end up as garden decor. Couldn't get them all in the Equinox so a second trip for the balance is needed. Sometimes you just go for it even if it makes no sense in the long run. Photo is from the ad. |
